Amber is a visual design system created for NACMS’s 2021 Annual Gala. Inspired by the idea of an artist’s journal, the concept reflects the raw, evolving nature of creative process—where ideas are born, reworked, and rebuilt. At its core, the design features a collage-style display typography, drawing from the Chinese character for autumn “秋,” intertwined with organic elements to evoke a sense of seasonality, introspection, and transformation.
