This is the second set of calendars I made inspired by the East Asian culture. I challenged myself by overseeing the Chinese character as a form of typography and interplaying the chemistry of lettering and illustration in an ordinary square frame. The harmony that appeared from the mixture of organic and the edges is a reflection of nature and the manmade, which is generated by the observations of traditional East Asia window frames, tiles, and fabric textile designs. The flowers corresponding to each month are excerpts from the ancient literature. The design concept is formed around the core value to awaken people's attention and love for their heritage.
